Agent runtimes, CI gates, and coding models — Cloudflare, Google, Kimi

Building the agentic cloud: everything we launched during Agents Week 2026. Cloudflare releases an agent-first suite — sandboxes, Git-compatible Artifacts, identity-aware egress, Durable Object Facets, and Workflows v2 — aimed at giving agents production primitives. Outcome engineers get integrated building blocks for sandboxed execution, artifact provenance, and identity-aware egress that reduce bespoke infra work (Principles 06, 07, 09).

Cloudflare Introduces Project Think: A Durable Runtime for AI Agents. Cloudflare launches Project Think, a durable actor runtime that checkpoints agent progress, manages memory, and runs code securely for resilient agents. This lets you build agents that persist state, resume work, and provide deterministic checkpoints — a core capability for reliable outcome delivery (Principles 07, 09).

Orchestrating AI Code Review at scale. Cloudflare ships a CI-native orchestration that runs specialized AI reviewers, deduplicates findings, and blocks unsafe merges across thousands of pull requests. Use this pattern to treat reviewers as orchestrated agents in CI, with gating, deduplication, and audit trails that keep delivery predictable (Principles 09, 15).

Google ADK for Java 1.0 Introduces New App and Plugin Architecture, External Tools Support, and More. Google releases ADK for Java 1.0 with an app/plugin architecture, external tool integrations, and human-in-the-loop context engineering for agent development. Outcome engineers gain an SDK to standardize tool integrations and HITL hooks, making agents easier to extend, test, and govern (Principles 03, 06).

Kimi K2.6: Advancing Open-Source Coding. Kimi open-sources K2.6, a coding-focused model optimized for long-horizon, tool-enabled agent workflows and multi-agent orchestration. That gives you an accessible model tuned for complex programming tasks and orchestration experiments without proprietary lock-in — useful for building and validating agent pipelines (Principles 03, 09).
